Supporting Neurodivergent Pupils:
Sensory & Emotional Regulation in the Classroom
Our EPV Summer Course supports teachers in building a practical, neuro-affirmative understanding of neurodivergence, sensory regulation and inclusive classroom practice. Rooted in both current research and real classroom realities, the course helps participants move beyond deficit-based thinking and develop confident, strengths-based approaches that improve participation, wellbeing and belonging for all pupils.
Available in both fully online and blended formats, this 20-hour course combines flexible professional learning with meaningful application to school life. Participants explore neurodiversity, the eight sensory systems, emotional regulation, inclusive language, classroom environments and practical strategies that can be used immediately in teaching.
The course is designed to be active and reflective, with guided tasks, professional discussion, classroom-focused planning and a strong emphasis on translating theory into practice. Teachers leave with a deeper understanding of pupil needs, clearer tools for supporting regulation and participation, and a more inclusive lens through which to view behaviour, learning and difference.
Online course
Our online course offers the flexibility and convenience of self-paced professional learning, allowing participants to engage with the material in their own time while still benefiting from a rich, practical and classroom-focused learning experience.
Blended Course
Our bespoke blended course offers the best of both worlds — the flexibility and convenience of online learning, combined with 2 immersive onsite days at our nature-based yard, where participants can engage in hands-on, experiential learning in a calm and inspiring environment.

CPD Training
Our CPD sessions help educators understand and support neurodivergent learners with confidence and compassion. Grounded in both lived experience and educational expertise, our training moves beyond behaviour charts and into meaningful, inclusive practice.
Delivered on-site, online, or at our therapeutic farm for added hands-on experience, these 2.5-hour workshops are suitable for teachers, SNAs, early years teams, or whole-school training days. Each session equips staff with practical tools to create calmer, more connected classrooms—without the overwhelm.
An optional sound bath is available to deepen regulation and reflection, and certificates of completion are provided for all participants.
Course 1: Neurodivergence in the Classroom
Understand neurotypes, strengths-based strategies, and how to shift from correction to connection
Course 2: Sensory Integration in Practice
Understand how the sensory system shapes behaviour, learning, and wellbeing — and how small changes can make a big difference.

School Visits
Farm-Based Sensory Experiences
Bring your students into a space where nature, regulation, and connection come together. Our hands-on sensory experiences, set on our therapeutic farm, are designed to support regulation, engagement, and social-emotional growth — especially for neurodivergent learners. Activities include animal care, nature play, and sensory-based co-regulation support, all in a low-demand, child-led environment.
Therapeutic Riding sessions can be added to any visit as an optional add-on.
Once-Off Visit
Ideal as a sensory-friendly school trip or wellbeing day, students enjoy hands-on experiences with animals, sensory exploration, and nature-based co-regulation activities.
Mini-Term Programme
A weekly visit over a set number of weeks (typically 4–6) allows for deeper relationships with animals and staff, routine-building, and enhanced regulation and social engagement over time.
We also offer sensory-friendly seasonal events — Christmas, Easter, Halloween, and more. Accessible, inclusive, and available year-round.

Therapeutic Riding
Horses have a special way of helping children connect, calm, and thrive — and that’s what our therapeutic riding sessions are all about.Emotional benefits: building confidence, trust, resilience, and learning how to regulate big feelings.Physical benefits: improving balance, coordination, posture, and body awareness through the natural movement of the horse.Sessions are child-led, low-pressure, and always adapted so each child can succeed at their own pace.
We offer two types of sessions:
-Group sessions – small, relaxed, social experiences where children can learn together, connect with peers, and grow their confidence in a supportive environment.
-1-to-1 sessions – focused support for children who may need a more tailored approach.
Therapeutic riding is especially helpful for autistic children, ADHDers, children with Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy or any other sensory, developmental, or emotional needs. For safety and comfort, we offer therapeutic riding sessions for children aged 3–10, under 160 cm in height and 60 kg in weight. Parents are asked to complete an online form in advance, so we can match each child with a suitable horse.

Pony Club
For children who want to spend more time with horses, our Pony Club is a chance to learn about pony care, grooming, and stable routines in a fun, hands-on way. It’s not just about riding — it’s about building confidence, responsibility, and a special bond with animals. Our Pony Club runs on Fridays (during term time and school holidays) for 2 hours. Sessions include a therapeutic riding experience along with light stable management, sensory play, and games — all within our neuro-affirming ethos.

Teens Coaching
Our one-to-one coaching sessions support neurodivergent teens and tweens to better understand themselves, build confidence, and develop practical tools to navigate everyday life. Using a strengths-based and neurodiversity-affirming approach, we help young people befriend their brain rather than work against it.
Each session is personalised, supportive, and paced to meet the individual where they are. Together, we focus on self-awareness, emotional regulation, goal-setting, and creating strategies that truly work for their unique brain.
